Target audience could be said to be primarily middle class, from the age of 15-21, living in and around London. Psychological thrillers are the preferred, suggesting a cognitive audience is to be aimed at. A low level of lighting is revealed to be pleasing to said audience, creating an air of mystery. A sense of realism is required to keep the viewer entertained, and distorted or 'off' shots of actors and location are more than acceptable. In terms of 'gore', a level of discretion appears to be required, although it cannot be said that a Tension Release audience should be ruled out. Discretion with scenes of a sexual nature is also needed, not to avoid offending viewers, but more to preserve the integrity of the sense of realism the director has created. Romance is seen to be an effective 'hook' for a viewer, which brings into question a personal integrative audience.
A mixed gender audience is presumed for proposed project.
